The pastry brush features a handle constructed of stainless steel with black silicone bristles. It is ergonomically designed to be comfortable in your hand and easy to use. The benefit to using a silicone brush is that it is much easier to clean than a standard brush, it is dishwasher safe and the bristles do not break! They also don't burn as they are heat resistant to 572F(300C). A small groove runs around the bristles, this along with the flat handle end, allows the brush to be stood on it's end without any baking oils running down the handle! This brush is just 3-1/2 inches in length. This short grip makes it ideal for use in the oven, baking, and for getting into tight spaces where a regular size pastry brush just will not fit! You'll find it hard to imagine you lived without one once you get your hands on it. This brush is sure to become a staple in your kitchen.
